In the midst of Nelson Mandela’s fight for his life, the White House has released a powerful photograph of President Obama and his family visiting the former South African president Nelson Mandela’s cell, during their trip to South Africa in late June.
In the above picture, the First family is given and brief tour and breakdown of Mandela’s historic prison stay at the Robben Island Prison on Robben Island in Cape Town by Ahmed Kathrada, a former prisoner.
