Mike Tyson’s one-man show, Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, is poised to throw more than a few jabs on the Great White Way this summer. Hitting the Longacre Theatre for a six-night limited engagement beginning today, Undisputed Truth will be helmed by Oscar-nominated director Spike Lee in his Broadway directorial debut.
Tyson and Lee welcomed the press on June 18 to discuss their knockout journey from Brooklyn to Broadway. “It is an honor to work with Spike Lee,” said Tyson. “I have always admired his work. Sharing the highlights and lowlights of my life with New York is especially important to me as I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I am thrilled to bring the story of Undisputed Truth to Broadway.”
