LEGO Sculptures By Nathan Sawaya Exhibits At The Morris Museum

Nathan Sawaya an artist from New York City creates over the top large scale sculptures made purely from Lego bricks. Remember those colorful blocks you use to play with as a child? Now his creations are on display at The Morris Museum for viewing called, The Art of Brick. With over 25 eye catching sculptures, I’m sure you will be very amused. There is also a special area where you can build your own fantasies. It usually takes Sawaya about 2-4 weeks to complete a life-sized piece made with the same blocks that you can buy at a toy store. It usually takes about 15,000-25,000 bricks, how amazing! The exhibit is on display till February 19th 2012.
