Lamborghini has unveiled the Roadster version of its Aventador speedster, which generates 700hp and boasts similar performance specs as the model it is based on, but adds a removable carbon fiber roof.
Based on the Aventador coupe that was launched in 2011, this new version boasts a removable roof made of two separate parts and weighing in at less than 6kg.The back of the car shelters a V12 6.5l engine that delivers the same type of performance as the original: the speedster can reach 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h. It is also the first Lamborghini supercar to integrate the Stop & Start system.
