Inspired by the exploits of the late explorer Wilfred Thesiger, designer Patrick Grant said he wanted to “tell the story of a British man who adopts the personality of the various cultures he passes through.” He combined colors evoking Thesiger’s North African adventures with his polished tailoring. He even gave caftans a sartorial spin: They looked like oversized, tailored shirts and came in crisp white or deep blue.
