Life Lessons From Picasso

Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter and one of the recognized figures in 20th century art, probably most famous as the co-founder, along with Georges Braque, of cubism. He worked mainly with paint, but had equal facility in oil, watercolour, pastels, charcoal, pencil and ink. He famously rendered complex scenes as just a few geometric shapes in his mixed-media cubist works, but also produced masterful realist portraits. Aside from his beautiful works of art Picasso taught us an abundance of life lessons.

“It is not what the artist does that counts. But what he is.”

“It is your work in life that is the ultimate seduction.”

“Computers are useless. They can only give you answers.”

“Action is the foundational key to all success.”

“Love is the greatest refreshment in life.”
