Dolce & Gabbana has launched its first fragrance collection, named the Velvet Collection. The set features six limited edition fragrances, each one inspired by the heritage of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Specifically, Velvet Sublime is inspired by the orange groves of Sicily, Velvet Love is inspired by the carnations that grow in Lake Como, Velvet Desire is inspired by the Renaissance period, Velvet Vetiver is inspired by the scent of the Mediterranean summer, Velvet Wood is inspired by lacquered wood, and Velvet Patchouli is inspired by Stefano Gabbana’s first signature scent. If you are similarly inspired, the Velvet Collection is available now exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue stores. They retail for $195 each.
